The English house system creates a sense of community and fosters peer mentoring amongst students. Within the house, students gain positive personal qualities and cultivate life-long good habits. Our boarding buildings are equipped with study rooms, living rooms, kitchens and laundry rooms. Housemasters live and work in the houses together with matrons and tutors from China and abroad; together, they will be the mentors and role models for the students of the house. Under the guidance of housemasters and tutors, students study and finish their assignments during the in-house study sessions every night. The house will also be a central social space for the students; students and staff will bond over meals, extra-curricular activities and inter-house competitions. In this safe and pleasant environment, students will develop everlasting friendships.
