The school offers a variety of IGCSE and A-level subjects for students to choose flexibly.Universities in the US and Canada offer credit off to some of the A Level courses in the first year. This has enabled the A Level system to be recognised by more than 160 countries around the world as the “Golden Standard Curriculum" for entering into the top universities including Harvard University, MIT, Cambridge, Oxford and other renowned universities. Students of comparable academic ability will have a higher chance of getting into top universities through the A Level system.
Sedbergh School became an official UCAS centre in 2020. This allows for a closer contact with UK universities and enables students to have easier access of information and professional career service guidance relating to UK university applications.It provides a green path for students to get into top universities in the UK and reduces obstacles during the application process.
